Student conferences:
This fall, different from other years we chose to have each local movement have its own separate fall conference instead of having one central conference (as we plan to have in the spring). These conferences were very effective in assimilating new believers into the movement as well as consolidating the local movements. Here is one story from the movement in Shkoder:
"The combination of teaching from the Bible and family atmosphere made this conference a great encouragement to the 43 students from the University of Shkoder who attended the conference. It was an especially unforgettable time for those that came for the first time. In addition to the believers that attended the conference there was also a number of non-believers.
Shpresa, a girl involved with our movement, invited some of her friends to attend the conference. She wasn't sure how they would react as in the past they had been somewhat skeptical. But, by the end of the conference they had clearly understood the gospel and were seriously considering what they had heard. Another student, Fatjon was deeply impressed by the love and unity that he experienced among the other students. Soon after the conference Fatjon accepted Christ as Savior."
