Passionate pursuit

Every three years all the staff with Campus Crusade for Christ in Eastern Europe and Russia gather together in Hungary for a week of fellowship, inspiring messages and refreshment. Our theme this year was “Passionate Pursuit: Renewing our Passion, Pursuing our Mission.”

We know that if we don’t have a deep, ongoing, passionate relationship with our Lord, we won’t be able to pursue the mission He has for us.

We had great teaching from the word each day, as well as updates from each of the 18 countries represented. We were able to rejoice with those who have seen great fruit and growth and to come alongside those that are experiencing difficult times as a true family. One special event was a prayer meeting with the Albanian and Serbian staff over the issue of Kosovo. Even though there are many problems in Kosovo, we know that we, as Christians, are all one in Christ. Please continue to keep Kosovo in your prayers as they approach a declaration of indepence from Serbia.

Please pray that we will not just remember this as a good conference, but that we would let the lessons that God wanted to teach us truly become part of our lives and change us. Thank you for the part you played, as our partners, in allowing us to attend this conference.
